Mr. and Mrs. Harold Stewart of Clifton announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Blum Stewart to Bryce Aaron Buell, son of Carl Buell of Scotia-Glenville, N.Y., and Valerie and Michael Barlous of Rockville, Md.

Ashley is a graduate of George Mason University with a bachelor of science in tourism and events management. After working for the Miss Universe organization, Ashley currently is an events manager for Cvent in McLean, Va.

Bryce is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park. After graduating, Bryce spent several years modeling full time in Europe and the United States. He returned to pursue a career in law enforcement.

The wedding ceremony will take place in May 2012 at the Marriott Renaissance Arlington Capital View, Arlington, Va. The couple will honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.
